Liebe Freunde in Nah und Fern,
es gibt viele interessante Aktivitäten an der Westküste. Darauf möchte ich Sie/Euch heute aufmerksam machen:
1. Charityveranstaltung am Samstag, dem 26. Oktober, um 20.00 Uhr im Pavillon in Aljezur, (wo auch der Weihnachtsmarkt oder das Batata-Doce-Fest stattfindet). Auf Initiative von Engländern wird für eine Küche gesammelt, die für die mittägliche Betreuung von Bedürftigen geplant ist. Die Veranstaltung sollte ursprünglich im September stattfinden. Im Anhang ist ein Flyer, der noch dieses Datum trägt, aber ich habe keine aktuellere Information.
2. Konzert im Hause Bieler am Sonntag, 27. Oktober, um 17.00 Uhr mit Daniela Ignazzitto (Klavier), Uta Kerner (Geige) und Sunita Mamtani (Cello). Auch davon ein Flyer im Anhang.
3. in der Bibliothek der Tertúlia in Aljezur, Freitag, 01. November um 18h treffen sich deutschsprachige Publizist/Innen Thema: 2 Zyklus durch die portugiesische Literaturlandschaft...Reconquista und ihre literarischen Begleiter. 4. Konzert des CIA - Coro Internacional de Aljezur - am Sonntag 10. November um 17.00 Uhr in der Igreja Nova in Aljezur unter der Leitung von Francisco Brazão. Er leitet auch den Coral Ideias do Levante in Lagoa, der ebenfalls auftreten wird.
5. Gedenkstunde zum Volkstrauertag am Sonntag, dem 17. November, um 11.00 Uhr auf dem Friedhof in Aljezur unter Mitwirkklung des Coro International de Aljezur unter der Leitung von Francisco Brazão und einer Abordnung aus Lissabon.
6. Veranstaltung vom Culturpunkt luso-alemã in der Bibliothek der Tertúlia in Aljezur am Samstag, dem 23. November um 20.00 Uhr. Dabei werde ich u.a. von der Buchmesse in Frankfurt berichten (auch am 12.11. bei Alfa in Lagoa) und ein Buch intensiver besprechen.
Ihr seht, man/frau muss nicht nach Faro oder Lagoa fahren, auch in unserer Gegend gibt es kulturelle Anregungen. Es wäre schön, Sie ließen sich dafür begeistern.

in the next future there are some interesting activities in the west of the Algarve. This is a short information and reminder:
1. Charity Activity on Saturday, the 26th of October at 8 p.m. in the Pavillon in Aljezur to get money and material to start with a kitchen for to feed poor people. You can hear Dixieland - music and the Coro Internacional de Aljezur and other good music. Attachment one.
2. Concert with piano, Violin and Violoncello in the house from Hildegard and Karl Heinz Bieler in Alfambras at Sunday, the 27th of October at 17.00 / 5p.m. Attachment two.
3. Concert at Sunday, the 10th of November at 5 p.m. in the church Igreja Nova in Aljezur with the choirs "Coro Internacional de Aljezur " and "Coral de Ideas do Levante" from Lagoa under the leadership from Francisco Brazão.
4. Service of remembrance at the German Volkstrauertag at the cemetery in Aljezur on Sunday, the 17th of November at 11 a.m. with the Coro Internacional de Aljezur and a participation of a delegation from Lisbon.
5. Activitity from the "Culture-Point Luso-Alemão" at Saturday, the 23rd of November at 8 p.m in the library of the Tertulia (in the old part from Aljezur near to the museum, the old building of the Câmara).
I will inform the audience about the book-fair in Frankfurt and present a special book. (On Tuesday, the 12th of November at 9.30 p.m. in Lagoa)
You see, you have not to go to Faro or Lagoa / Portimão to get interesting cultural impulses! Enjoy it!
