Laut einer Mitteilung von SATA ist vom 23.-26.8.2017 bei der "National Union of Cabin Crew" mit Streiks zu rechnen. Fluggäste der Fluglinie, die in diesem Zeitraum einen Flug mit der Gesellschaft gebucht haben, können die Flüge ohne zusätzliche Kosten ändern. Hierzu wenden man sich an das Service-Center.

Following a pre warning, made by the National Union of Cabin Crew for potential strike action from the 23rd to 26th of August, Azores Airlines and SATA Air Açores would like to inform all its passengers that might have a flight on these dates that they may change their trip at no extra cost, by contacting our Contact Centre Group SATA is making all efforts possible to minimize any inconvenience that may occur from this situation.

Die Fluglinie SATA hat wegen des bevorstehenden Streiks die "Öffnungszeiten" der Kundenzentren angepasst.

Hier die Mitteilung der Airline:

Following the notice of strike action by the National Union of Cabin Crew, for the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th August 2017 in relation to Azores Airlines and SATA Air Açores, the SATA Group is extending its hours of operations to assist passengers; our extended operations are as follows:

• Call Centre: 07:00 to 22: 00 AZOT - 08:00 to 23:00 (mainland Portugal and Madeira)
• Ticket Shop in Ponta Delgada: 09:00 to 20:00 AZOT (Monday to Friday)
• Help-Desk Agents: 08:30 to 18:30 AZOT (Monday to Friday)
• Groups Department: 08:30 to 18: 30 AZOT (Monday to Friday)
• Tour Operator Support: 08:30 to 18:30 AZOT (Monday to Friday)

These new times are effective from Friday 11th August until Saturday 26th August.

The SATA Group is making every effort possible to minimize the inconveniences caused by this situation, and, we thank you for your understanding.

Streik ist abgesagt!

The National Union of Cabin Crew has cancelled their strike. Group SATA informs all passengers who made changes or cancellations in the past days can now change their trip at no extra charge. Please contact your original sales channel.

Gerade per SMS erhalten... Das klingt ja nicht wirklich gut. Am 27.08 geht unser Flieger hoffentlich ab Frankfurt nach Horta über Ponta Delgada.


The SATA Group has been informed from the National Union of Cabin Crew that they will maintain their strike action in relation to Cabin assistance to flights. This is different to the strike action that has been cancelled between the [DLMURL="https://www.portugalforum.de/community/tel:23"]23[/DLMURL]rd and [DLMURL="https://www.portugalforum.de/community/tel:26"]26[/DLMURL]th August. This strike action of assistance to flights is for an indefinite period. The SATA Group warns that this planned action may lead to irregularities such as delays and cancellations. We are doing all we can to minimise any inconvenience.
